Princess Michael of Kent acknowledged last night that her father had been an officer in Hitler’s SS. A brief statement was issued by the Queen’s press secretary, Mr Michael Shea, saying that the princess was “shocked” by the revelation in today’s Daily Mirror.
Hallmarks are often confused with “trademarks” or “maker’s marks”. A hallmark is not the mark of a manufacturer to distinguish his products from other manufacturers’ products: that is the function of trademarks or makers’ marks. To be a true hallmark, it must be the guarantee of an independent body or authority that the contents are as marked. Thus, a stamp of ‘925’ by itself is not, strictly speaking, a hallmark, but is rather an unattested fineness mark.
In not being in full contact with the future, he has only superficial contact with other humans. He cannot really adjust his behavior to accord with social expectations. Desynchronization in mania happens by a speeding-up of personal time in relation to social time (in Fuch’s model, linked above).
Japanese macaques are known to ride deer like humans ride horses, for fun or transportation — behavior the deer seem to tolerate in exchange for grooming and discarded food. But these monkeys were up to something different.
Wait. Monkeys ride deer? This is a movie that does not end well for humanity.
Taibbi apologized on the program and later on Facebook. “The behavior [Ames] describes is reprehensible. It is also, like a lot of things in the eXile, fictional and not true.” He said he regretted putting his name on a book “that used cruel and misogynistic language to describe many people and women in particular.” In a second Facebook apology, he wrote: “The eXile did have a satirical idea, at least in the beginning. It was supposed to be an obscene send-up of the Americans who stood behind the crooked Yeltsin government.” Ames recently told reporters that the eXile was obviously satire and complained that he is being smeared for that satire.
Why do the hard work to be a good person when an apology is just so much easier. That’s sarcasm. Fuck these guys.
Caveat emptor: I haven’t field tested BuJoPro. The above ideas are merely speculation on how one might maintain all the things I love about the self-contained analog simplicity of BuJo, while successfully tackling the annoying challenges unique to our current hyper-connected world.
Officials at Salem State University in Massachusetts discovered hateful graffiti spray-painted on benches and a fence surrounding the baseball field, including “Trump #1 Whites Only USA.” An undocumented immigrant in Michigan reported to the police that two assailants had stapled a note bearing a slur to his stomach after telling him, “Trump doesn’t like you.” A white Massachusetts businessman at Kennedy International Airport in New York was charged with assaulting and menacing an airline worker in a hijab, saying, among other threats: “Trump is here now. He will get rid of all of you.”
Think about that for a second. He’s claiming they are GUILTY BECAUSE THEY HELPED ANONYMIZE OTHERS IN A CROWD.. This is pure insanity on multiple levels. First, anonymity is, by itself, protected by the First Amendment. Second, your own First Amendment rights don’t get thrown out just because prosecutors can’t find the actual perpetrators of violence in a crowd and decide to nab you instead. That’s not how it works.
Roy Moore; an ill-informed, racist, misogynist, anti-gay, child molesting criminal who was shunned by many in his own party lost an election. That was good news. But he came damn close to winning. And Trump backed him all the way. And we know that this is not the bottom for Trump. There is no bottom.
